There are many stunning walks in the area, at all grades, 1-5. 1 being stunning views for minimum effort and
5 being for the more adventurous.
Ballachulish is also home to the fascinating Ballachulish Slate Quarry which began in 1693 (the year after The Glen Coe Massacre) and run for two and a half centuries, up until 1955. This is well worth the picturesque walk around.
There is also golf, boat trips, Kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, stand up paddling, canyoning, coasteering, archery, laser clay shooting, bike hire and the indoor ice climbing centre all within 13km
And of course The Munros of Glencoe, which are amongst the best known and loved in Scotland, provide some of the finest mountaineering expeditions our country has to offer, especially in winter conditions.
